Overview
Many candidates tend to locate the private shop for selling the tips of examination. According to the map, they come to booth which belongs to CHUEN. In order to avoid legal liability, CHUEN designs a self-serve counter for candidates to select their tips. Ironically, CHUEN is not well educated and writes the words wrongly. HONG is busy at work, while study hard at night. He looks awful; hence, the Princess suggests HONG to take leave from his work at academy Hanlin temporarily. However, HONG does not want to give up the opportunity that the KING awarded him and declines the kindness of the Princess. By chance, HONG meets an old cleaning servant, who has in-depth knowledge. He feels interest and begins conversation with him truthfully. He then realizes the high price for forsaking the official rank to take the academy Hanlin examination.
